How do I offer file download option on my site?

Hi,
I have a PDF file that I would like to offer for download on my site. Currently, I just send it in an email, but might want to just offer it as a download on my site.

I have a standard HTML site hosted on GoDaddy. I also have a Wordpress blog setup in a folder in my root folder if that helps any?

Thanks for any tips & suggestions.

      You first need to upload the pdf file to your host.

      then just change the path to what suits yours.

      /path/to/the/pdf.pdf

    The simple answer as I'm sure you're savvy enough based on the info you've delivered about your situation thus far... Simply place that .pdf on your server in your root folder, and then either straight link, or keyword anchor text the link to the .pdf.... when the individuals browser displays the PDF, the'll be afforded an option to "Save" to wherever.

    Hi,

    If you want the file to be download automatically by the users of ypur site, then you have to compress the file and turn it into a zip file. This type of file will download automatically.Then you have to specif the link for downloading (ie) path of the file name.
