php code: sharing via email to promote blog

I have a project to promote a blog... via email sharing:

Have reader enter 10 email/names on a form along with reader's own message to their friends to promote our blog. Put a link in the email to friends so that each of the friends can subscribe to our blog list. We want to track this so that if reader *successfully* refers 10 people, they get a free copy of one of our products. System would also need a capcha to prevent abuse.

Any suggestions for "off the shelf" code. Any other marketing suggestions about this method of promotion?

    Sounds like what a typical "Tell a friend" script does. There's tons of them out there, so just Google "tell a friend script".
