Anybody Familiar With The Aweber Email Parser Feature?

Hi All,

Anybody could give me a bit of insights on how to add a 3rd party
email parser to Aweber...

Not to sure how to edit the trigger rule:
From:[^\n|.]+user\@domain\.com (header)

and the name and email fields:
\n[>\s]*Email:\s+(.+?)\n (body)
\n[>\s]*Name:\s+(.+?)\n (body)

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Pete

I think I may have helped you over at phpLD?
We just did some work for somebody on Aweber. I don't how to do it, but our programming team did something where it parses the email to aweber. Maybe that was you?

      Hi dvduval,

Nope sorry, never been to phpLD, but maybe I should!

Anything I seem to try doesn't work... but I'm not very familiar
with writing that type of code... which I don't even remember
      the name now LOL!!

O, yes, writing "expressions", I think that's what it is!

      Regards, Pete

Ah, ok, I had you mixed up with someone else then. We just made a modification that makes it so that when someone registers with the phpLD site, they are also invited to the aweber list.

I haven't used that feature of aWeber yet, but those are called "regular expressions". Googling that might get you going in the right direction.
