Offline Biz and Customer Login Online ?

We've been searching for a way that would let our clients to login to their account online, to view services booked, and the ability to communicate with them privately. We would also like to be able to post videos and pictures in the private section -- client profile.

Some of our competitors are using this type of thing already.

What kind of software is this?
Is there a cloud-based solution?

    There are many ways to go about it, but the fastest/cheapest way for you to get something up quickly would probably be using wordpress and a premium membership plugin. There's a good one on codecanyondotcom for 25 bucks.

    I don't think there is an off the shelf solution that does exactly what you're talking about; so the above solution would need a little tweaking but could be done relatively easily.

    I'd suggest you to look for a suitable CMS. Most people use Wordpress today as it's easy and user friendly.

    The sure way of this solution is the use of CMS. Other than wordpress, Joomla and Drupal may also be used but wordpress is easy to use and is very compatible. However if a person still feels some inconvenience then he may also refer to a developer which would help out a lot.

      Everyone is recommending Wordpress, but I don't see how that's going to do what we're looking for. We aren't trying to create a blog or a content based membership site. We're looking for a solution that will enable our clients to login to a private section, create a customer profile, and communicate with our staff privately.
