Duplicate backlinks?

Hey all,

Just a quick dumb question, if you please;

Let's say that some directory, blog or forum has several links pointing to my site. Is this considered as one link, or different backlinks in the eyes of Google?

    Though Google hasn't said anything officially its fair to say that if on different pages they count (how much only Google can say for sure). There has been some indication they have lesser value if on the same page.

    They are considered different backlinks but they count less as Google finds more backlinks to your site from the same domain.

        In recent seo updates blog comment is ignored by most google. But it helps you to get traffic. So it is not bad for your site.

    Are they on the same page? Or only in the same domain? If they are on the same domain only, it shouldn't be a problem at all
