Getting Links From Spamy Sites

Hi Friends,

Today i check that lot of linsk to my sites are coming from spamy sites (it seems).I have done no effort in giving my link to these sites.Links to my sites are coming from like name in the comments area,Side bar RSS feeds and it seems to me spammy.
How can i protect my website from this.

    Reach out to the webmasters of those sites and asked them to remove your link from their sites.

    Start working on removing those links, if you are being attacked you can probably expect a lot more incoming links.

    I would suggest using a link removal service for this as they will have the best results.

    You have to work to remove the spam links because they are harmful

    Just build editorially worthy content and get good editorial backlinks, or buy them.

    Certainly sounds like negative SEO by a competitor. Sometimes negative SEO works, sometimes it doesn't. The best protection is to have a sound, quality backlink profile in place. That might not be much help for you now, if you don't already have many good backlinks. But for the future, it means work to establish quality, not quantity, backlinks.
