Nature Of Content For Blog Network

Hi warriors,

Where you develop a private/personal blog network inclusive of many web 2.0 properties (say running into 100 sites or more) - with a view to gaining backlinks to your money site, i can imagine the volume of content you will require to regularly keep the sites updated. It is seeming as if 100% original content may be impracticable in this circumstance.

Can someone who has practical knowledge of this or at least someone who is realistic and has at least read up on this, advise as to the nature of content usually used for this purpose. Is it advisable in view of the constraints (time, money etc) required, that

- 100% original content for each post on each site, should be used
- spun content is best used in the circumstances
- your own duplicated content "will pass" in the circumstances.
- duplicated content of others(with author resource box intact) "can pass" in the circumstances.

Thank you.

Will also appreciate a link to a list of significantly wholly text content web 2.0 properties, as quite a no. that i have explored are heavily imagery-based.

You don't need to constantly update content especially not on Web 2.0s. Real content is preferred but to be honest most people doing Web 2.0 PBNs are doing spun stuff

I was of the view that the more posts you have on web 2.0's, like on other websites, the more backlinks you are likely to have pointing back to your site. Is this not the case?

If you are trying to fill up 100 Web 2.0's with content, do you really think the content is going to be worthy of attracting links?

If it was just a matter of more content equals more links, then we would all have 1000+ page sites.

            Your assumption is wrong!
I intend inserting links to my money site in the posts which i make in my PBN(including Web 2.0 properties) and i am already doing that, at any rate. I do not intend to link-bait with the content.

So you are talking about by having more posts on the Web 2.0 sites, you can create more links to your target sites.

Okay, but there is a diminishing return linking from the same domain or sub-domain. It's not going to make much of a difference.

Well no, your assumption is wrong thinking that having tons of pages, each with a link to your "money site" is of benefit to you, rather than the reality, which is pretty much screaming "Hey Google, isn't my PBN awesome?!!"

Your assumption of what people mean when they use the common term PBN is also wrong. What you are describing is a Full Monty template run on Senuke. Or something that would deliver Senuke type results. Nothing.

There is no point in telling you about content originality, or give you lists of sites. Your first paragraph explains that you don't really know what you are doing, and might need some education on PBN's in general. I would highly recommend that you do PBN training of some kind before you get into things and make a mess.

Your outburst sure indeed sounds like that of someone just coming out of "Hellfire" or sorry, is it "Helixfire(dot)com"

You are simply immature and perhaps think that the only way to gain recognition on this forum is to run others down. You just jump to replying a post based on analysis on a peripheral level. When an experienced internet marketer asks a question that seems so basic, you should pause, put on your thinking cap before answering, as there must be more to it than a cursory view will reveal.

Many of us are much more highly educated and experienced than your likes and have been into internet marketing and of course on this forum, well before you and understand same much more than you. We are simply humble enough to pretend not to know much so that we can gain more knowledge, as gaining knowledge is infinite. Also, no one can know all the varied field of internet marketing to expert level. We all have our areas of specialization.

Your likes should first read forum rules and etiquette before being allowed to post on such highbrow forum as the warrior forum. For your information, those who are polite earn more respect. On the other hand, "empty barrels make the most noise" and make a fool of themselves thereby.

        Thanks nik0,

Glad we still have some level-headed, mature warriors whose prime consideration is not playing to the gallery.

Those immature ones need to go back to school. Oh! perhaps they are even still in school.

Their group should not turn this forum into "pre-nursery". It is where serious, top internet marketers hang out or at least used to hang out, while still not discriminating against relatively new entrants.

There are other sections of the forum for throwing banters and tantrums.

You know, hanging out in bars/clubs every night of the week gets boring fast. Pumping one hooker after the after is also only fun for a while, so what else is there to do than troll on forums?

Don't get me going on trying a non hooker, I live in Pattaya so that would be mission impossible.

Kevin is even worse of, he is married

Don't worry about it my man the nit pickers will always want to pick a fight. I knew exactly what you meant by a PBN and having taught on the subject I have heard many people refer to web 2.0s as part of a PBN.

Dele, my outburst was a wrong presumption. Maybe something got lost or misunderstood in my response. I can't see the offense you saw, but considering you and others also have felt my post was aggressive towards you in some way.

I apologize to you without reservation, if you took any offense to it.

My reply and 99% of all my replies here start off with trying to establish a little humor. Maybe that's some type of social deficiency I have, when dealing with people. But that's who I am, and it's unlikely to change anytime soon That's how I speak and approach everything in life, with a little humor. And that's all I was trying to do here, my usual self.

But to reiterate, If you took offense to what I have said to you, despite me not feeling any offense was portrayed by my words or intended. I will still apologies to you, it's what puts me a cut well above the rest around these parts.

        I am very sorry Dele.

OP did mention spun content. Personally anytime I see someone mention spun (anything) I get the impression of low quality gibberish blazing across the net. Combine that with a PBN thread title & 2.0, well..., it's kinda spammy.

Eh, I guess that spun anything does automatically bring to mind crap spam. I think what he was getting at is, using multiple web20's with multiple pages over and over, buying fresh, expensive, quality content is impractical for sites you don't own or have control over in the first place. I can write spun content that you would have no idea it was ever spun in the first place though. But yeah, I hear ya on that end of things

    What I would do is:

    - 1-5 posts per self hosted PBN site
    - 300-500 words per web2.0 with tons of images in between to make it lengthy, lists would be a nice one

With my PBN sites I split it up into categories, if I have one client in that niche I add one category with 5 posts, if I have another client in the same or very similar niche I add another category with 5 posts.
