Hey guys,

I guess many of you do outreach to bloggers and site owners as part of your linkbuilding strategy. What are your tips regarding this? What do you do to increase the reply rate and willingness to link to you?

Thx!

It is vital that you try to reach out for bloggers with unique and fresh content. You will have all the confidence in the world, if you have spend four or five hours for research to write an article at hand. See that you follow a polite email template so as to grab the attention of the bloggers. If your content is genuine and informative enough, you are naturally going to earn some links

Mike King talked about this in his WAMA here: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...m-est-nyc.html

He uses vsnap to record short personalized videos. Cool idea that would grab my attention.

    Quote from the transcript:

So there is a tool called Vsnap which allows you to record a one minute video and send it as an email to any given person and you can also see whether they viewed it or not. And why this is so impactful is because it is more personal. They realize you are an actual person this isn’t some generated email that I am getting. And you can do things like wear a crazy hat on your head and it elicits a quicker response than like a standard email.
