Sharing my thoughts on how automatic SEO content in the current state will continue delivering diminishing return in 2015 and what can we do to improve it

Would like to hear your opinion on the topic

I like the video, but have some reservations as to your ideas of how professional SEO's operate in 2015.

You don't have to create anything really. everything you need to rank for anything is there already. You just need to know how to take it.

Also, I find that multiple tiers of anchor is also irrelevant when it comes to a relevance score. The only factors counted are the immediate links to that page. The target page is then scored based on the PR >Contextual LSI relevance>Anchor>, in that order. PR dwarfing both Anchor and CLSIR

    PR 60%
    CLSIR 6%
    Anchor 6%
    The Other 197 Factors 28%
(My own perception NOT FACTS )

The description of the Silo in the video, sounds more like a link wheel. Could you explain it in more detail?

I think the Penguin algo may have added more PR decay to the interweb as a perhaps forseen side effect of it running, and it's taking it's toll more openly now.

But good video, none the less.

Wow, a post with some real, interesting, useful content. I'm afraid I might have a heart attack!

I like the video, but maybe part of that is "confirmation bias" - I agree with, and pretty much do everything in, the video so of course I like it.

It's all becoming about relevancy. My PBN is actually several PBNs, each devoted to one topic. And then I have a 2nd tier PBN to provide links to the 1st tier PBN - those 2nd tier PBN sites are less topic specific, but still have some relevancy. Some people think it's a waste to invest in a 2nd tier PBN, and that that investment should be used to just include all those sites as 1st tier PBNs. I disagree, as I'd rather toss a handful of decent backlinks (from sites I own and control the content of) at my 1st level PBN sites, then use automated software to create thousands of no-value backlinks to the 1st tier.

I think relevancy is becoming so important that not only do I worry about page-relevancy, but I also set up whole tier 1 PBN sites to be relevant to one topic. I know a lot of people feel that Google can't recognize (or doesn't want to keep track of sitewide relevancy), but I'm working under the assumption Google is going to continue to get better and better at figuring out relevancy.

You've discovered SEO silos, yes they worked in 2000, yes they work in 2015.

One thing your not getting right is your lumping in all automated content with the $5 link spammers buying junk articles. The web doesn't revolve around just articles & quality content can be automated. Matter of fact, everything I'm working on right now (2015) is based on automated content & that includes money site content along with supplying hand picked relevant sites with same/similar content (not articles) in exchange for links + same niche traffic.
