Kind of Amazed, Free Links and no one wants them?

Anyone has any advice for me why no one is taking me up on the offer of one free link, it has been alive now for a day or so and not a single person that requested it.

Is one link not enough or something?

It are the links people SHOULD want, as they are niche relevant, only few posts per site (so they are strong), and they appear legit, and overall right now I give them for free.

Is it the ugly sales thread perhaps?

Don't I cover enough niches? (16 broad enough niches imo)

Please enlighten me why no one takes me up on this offer.

The links ain't cheap when compared to other sellers (but now they're free) the reason they aren't cheap is that we write 1000 words of content, that is a cost price of $11,- for me, + I need to pay VA's to place those links, plus I bought expensive PR3/PR4 domains that we place the links on and VA's spend a few hours per domain to make it look good. So $25,- might look expensive for future orders but when you take all the costs into account I think it's still relatively cheap, and people aren't forced to opt-in or make future purchases.

If people don't even want these links for free I wonder how I will be able to ever sell them lol.

I mean come on, it's 2015, we want a little more quality these days don't we?

"Review copy" is a deal breaker for me. For one, I don't like the idea too much, and especially not for backlink services. Secondly, don't believe that single link would help that much, so giving a review based on that would be sort of dishonest.

I actually stalked you via Find All Threads. The sales page seems alright to me.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

The sites are mostly in the PR3-PR4 range and to date each of them has about 5 posts so it drives quite a bit of juice that can cause a nice bump for one keyword.

That aside, it can be reviewed on different things like: quality of content, quality of the site in general (does it look real enough), strength of the domain and such. The effectiveness of the link is solely based on the strength of domain and number of links on the domain have an influence on that so that's quite predictable. We all know high PR links work so no doubt about that.

Obvious there are sellers that take a hike with that by artificially pumping domains and/or using faked PR domains but that can easily be verified by reviewers and/or buyers. Just enter the domain into a backlink crawling service like Ahrefs or Majestic and you know enough.

I obviously offered it to get some feedback quickly, and as I wanted to build out the domains with more content anyway as right now it's obvious a bit thin with just 5 pages per domain. In fact the network was setup for my monthly clients but the costs are simply too high too maintain it as clients want new links every month and don't settle with links purely based on rent. The majority of domains costed me about $200,-/piece and right now it's dedicated per client (eg only 1 or 2 obl per domain and a dedicated category for them) and each monthly client has about three of these domains so that was a startup cost of about 3*200 (domains) + 3*25 (content) * 3*10 (setup) = $705,- PER client, which is a bit on the high side for clients that pay around $100-$150/mo. Hence my decision to sell some links on the side.

If it stays like this for a week with few reviews I'll just cancel the whole service all together and turn the domains into full fledged money sites to monetize for myself, they already have a lot of strength so it wouldn't take too much to get them ranked.

Quite an operation that would be though as the network is about 160 sites large, 160 money sites that would be, yaiks

Why wouldn't you do this anyway?

It's an awful lot of work, creating and ranking 160 moneysites. Google doesn't like small sites so you automatically end up with at least 20 pages or something.

            160 sites * 15 pages = 2400 pages of content

Then I would have to buy a few 100 more high PR domains as I don't want any interlinking between my existing networks.

Money is not the main issue here, setting it all up is. In theory it looks nice but in practice it's a hell.

You are offering links....but claim they are not cheap.

They are worth what people will pay. If you are giving away links for
free, then that's the value. Nothing.

Google does not hate small sites.

I'm always the bad guy, so it does not matter.

Go into another line of work.

You think that's the general perception when people get something for free?

From my side it's just a long term investment.

Hating is not really an issue, larger sites have more stable rankings and rank easier, proven concept over the years.

I decide to follow your advice.
