Does anyone know if there is a way around having your content omitted from google search?There has to be some way to keep my you tube reviews up.

    As per the Google update, it's illegal to use duplicate content.
    While user used to search in Google with the respective keyword if the relevant content fount multiple time then Google will confuse to show which is the original one, though it is good to use unique content.

      Illegal? Last I checked Google didn't have that kind of legislative power.

      Google will probably use the content that seem most authoritative, and it's possible that they'll clean some duplicates or stuff that's close enough to their supplemental index.

      I don't think so, because according to Google 20-25% of content in the web is duplicate.

      Nope. That might help with the sales, but it's not guaranteed.

      Get better or more backlinks to your content than anyone else and it will be in Google, outranking everyone else.

    Thanks Guys, I don't think in this case it's totally about duplicate content. I'm doing a new launch and if your videos aren't in the top 3 or 4 they get omitted. Their is about 20 vids in the top 4 pages being omitted and 3 or 4 staying. So they are keeping the ones ranking the highest. guess I'll just have to work a little harder to get them ranking higher.

      Google doesn't seem to like the idea of showing many results from the same source. I'd try making another account, with another email address for some of those videos.

    Hmm.. if google omitted your content on serp then probably it sees it as duplicate content. As much as possible make sure to make your content more unique. You might want to check your site and see if it needs some changes.
