How do I know what my niche wants to read?

I love to create. Paintings, prints, crafts, you name it. Being able to think of something in my head and translate it onto paper or canvas is SO much fun. It's relaxing and exciting at the same time! I hope to create until my hands give up (and maybe by then they'll have figured out some sort of brain painting thing that I can experiment with).

Enough with that. I have a site that I built on the side and would love to market my stuff to people. I've been reading these forums daily now and try to soak up all the knowledge that I can because you guys are amazing!

I'd love to start a blog to get regular fresh content with strategic keywords to gather organic attention and capture emails for future communications. However, I'm struggling with knowing what to blog about? How do I find out more about my target audience (people who buy art) and know what they want to read about? Or who my influencers are going to be and what they want to read about?

I'd love advice and would take seriously any recommendations you have! Thanks for taking the time to read!

I am pretty big into using Pinterest for fashion, shopping, and food niches. Those people love that type of stuff and will pretty much share it right when you post

The research is the only way to get what you want.
Read similar blogs. Art galleries, social media (comments and discussions). What do people talk about? And so on...
You're going to write by yourself about subjects that you know well, right? So your content will be unique anyway. Just think what would be interesting for you.
Don't forget to check out the competition by keywords. In the beginning it's better to use long tail keywords.
    Good luck!))

    Google things like
    art auctions + forum

    art collectors + forum

    art buyers + forum

    art gallery owner + forum
Become a member, contribute, create a survey and have some of them tell you.

Go to an art gallery, meet the owner, pick their brain...
Make yourself a list of art owners, send them a survey... Tell them you're putting together a book / a case study. They get a copy (and will, at least know, what other art gallery owners think, maybe how to out-market them).

Then, when you get the answers, put together the case study, send it to them. A few days later, call them and ask them some more questions.

Type your keywords and niche into BuzzSumo, you'll get a list of articles that went "viral".
