Hi

I am posting duplicate content on blogs like Blogger.com, Wordpress.com, Tumbler.com, weebly.com and blog.com. I am taking content from different articles submission websites. Will this help me to generate more traffic towards my website ?

I am not posting that content on my website.

Usually duplicate content means duplicates within the same site.

Do these articles help or hurt? Well, it's pretty hard to say. I would not use the same article too many times, but if you're posting the articles to new blogs that you've set up you're not getting any link juice from them. New sites do not have any unless you build a link profile. They're probably pretty worthless for traffic.

Content is king to get more traffic to your website. So that content must be unique. Don't use duplicate content. Search engine won't crawl duplicate content. You can learn more about duplicate content through online.

This is BS. How would a search engine know that content is duplicate before crawling it? By magic and telepathy?

Search engines not only crawl, but index duplicate and similar pieces all the time. It's even possible that there's versions of the same article sitting in SERPs. However, if your backlink profile is weak and there's a lot of competition for a similar piece Google might just dump yours to the supplemental index.

What OP describes is just common spam, and has nothing to do with true blackhat SEO.

It's just bewildering that there's this many commenters who don't know that news agencies exists, and newspapers publish their stories often verbatim. Do you morons consider that blackhat too, huh? Do you really think that Google is penalizing them?

"Pass any link juice" - well, I can't speak for everyone, but I'd appreciate if you didn't present stuff you just pulled out of your arse.

Am I reading you right? Are you saying that you: (1) take other people's content (with permission, of course) and then (2) spread it around the internet for them?

I really don't know what you're doing there, but it doesn't sound like a productive activity at all.

Posting the same content in different blog sites will not benefit your main site and Google will consider it as unreliable source.

I suppose you'll come back in a few weeks complaining that you're not getting any traffic and asking why.

Is it really too much effort to create unique content and then work to get that ranked? If you're too lazy or busy to do it yourself get somebody to write content for you. There are thousands of people offering writing services.
