I don't recommend copy paste from some other website, that becomes useless & it affects the website's reputation.

Fresh, unique with rich keywords are very important . As we all say 'Content is king'

Fresh & well written content reduces half of your headache in doing SEO.

Just how fresh and unique is their content?

We don't all say, Content is king. You say and some other people who don't quite understand SEO.

This is unadulterated garbage. Fresh content doesn't seem to be a factor, or at least it's a very minor one. Good content on a suitable topic is much more important, as are backlinks to that content (internal and external). Why do you think that some sites rank years with the same blog articles?

If "unique" means "words didn't yet appear in this particular order" then it's not important either.

Fresh content will give you higher indexing .Keep in mind, more content is not the key here, quality is.Search Engines Emphasize Content Freshness in Ranking , Social Search is Fed by Fresh Content.

Is it me? Or is there a misunderstanding with "fresh". Do you mean fresh content as in with time, constantly updating new content in a timely manner? Or do you mean fresh content as in original content, in your own words/opinions without copy and paste from other sources?

You have people who only mean recently written. Others mean unique (as in Copyscape won't say it's copied, not as in it contains original thinking). Some mean both. In the is-fresh-content-important? context it means recently written, usually, if not always.

No, you cannot. Fresh content gets you a bump for a day or five, then Google's bots settle it where it belongs. If the fresh content gets a link from a page with some juice, even on the same site, the fresh content will be shown higher in the rankings. Because of the link(s).

So, link your posts strategically, forget about must-spew-content-on-a-daily-basis.

I'd be happy to burst your little bubble, but I see you went straight back to repeating mantras. Bless your heart.

I've seen "fresh" content occasionally get a small boost in Google, but only if the site is already ranking for similar topics and is strong enough. After that initial "honeymoon" the article may drop like a stone. Constantly posting just to have "fresh" content is not a dependable way to rank, and it's a total waste of time if you don't have backlinks to support your efforts.

I don't often quote Dean from Backlinko, but this is what he said in his recent newsletter.

Consistency is important. Freshness means little, especially if you're publishing "fresh" rubbish.

Stop chasing silly schedules in an effort to satisfy Google and start thinking about satisfying your readers.
