If you have never done it before, you'd better hire a seo specialist. But if you have time and desire to learn seo, it's not hard as mathematics xD

I had tried that before when I had first built my site but I think the writer went on and on just to make up 700 words. To me, my content was better but I am not sure if it's properly optimized for SEO, any way or source to know if my content can be better for google?

I think this all comes back to the same basic issue, how will anyone know if what a content writer has written is any better than their own? Is there maybe an SEO proof reading service out there for one to verify?

The question is impossible to answer. It depends on your writing ability versus the writer you are going to hire.

One thing is for sure though. I don't think I would EVER hire a writer that advertises themselves as being able to write SEO-optimized content. That usually just means the writer is looking for suckers.

I just want a good writer that either knows about the topic or is willing to research it properly.

Around here on WF that might be true but I know a few writers who are stellar at doing both and they would say they write SEO optimized.content. Theres no blanket statement to be made. In their case they do research for LSI and related keywords in addition to the subject.

For example for local they will make sure to include related areas and alternate names which I have seen myself rank local terms better. I grant you there are a lot of "writers" (some who can barely write English) who claim they write optimized content but there are real ones that really do while writing a great article.

They don't come for 2 cents a word though.

          No they definitely do not.

There are certainly a few that write SEO optimized content well, but they are few and far between. Generally though, if I see them advertising that, it's a red flag to either avoid them or certainly to ask for writing samples first before handing over any money.

Most writers advertising SEO optimized content think that putting a keyword in the heading and including it in the first sentence of the first paragraph means it is "optimized".

Agreed but its like that with a lot of thing in SEO nowadays.

People have now defined white hat as grey and black hat as manual to suit themselves and good content usually is anything but.

I had already hired a guy who specializes in kw research to scope out the local competition in my niche and I think he did an excellent job. I have also written my won content but now need to incorporate those kw's into my content in the best way. I don't have a big budget so cost will indeed be a factor where I'm concerned but if you could link me to those writers please I can see if they would be able to help me?

PM me with what you need. When you find good ones you grab them so we have three that work with us now on and one in particular never gets any other review but awesome.

I wish I could point you to a service but in my experience the great pain in finding good writers is sifting out the crappy writers and i have found them in just about every service out there.

Not to insult anyone but I never found any really good writers at WF and way back when I even put an ad out for them in the hire section. Some were okay but not all that.

        I agree with this...
If you have writers skills, do it yourself, if not ( like me ) get a good writer, it is not only the number of words that count, but also well written content !! The difference ? Visitors like good written ( without errors in it ).

Another thing to let someone else write is that you have time to setup your site, FB, twitter, etc ;-)

Would one of those services you guys would recommend as opposed to cheaper writing services like on fiverr?

Basically, what I think I will be needing is someone qualified with experience to proof read my content and re-write it to make is as SEO as possible. How would you guys go about selecting a person or service to do this please? Or any you guys can recommend? I just don't want to take the word of any tom, dick or henry who is self proclaimed.

Well when I said I couldn't find one I meant one that advertises here (as Mike's post suggest correctly). I have met what I think are two good writers here over the years but neither of them advertised here. I've actually seen threads here with people claiming four cents a word was a total ripoff. No good writer wants to market in that environment too much.

I guess everyone is trying to get the best work possible for their budget. If I had a big budget then I would hire the best but speaking for myself it's not about my wanting to get great work for cheap, it's quite simply that I can't spend what I don't have.

Well deppends on you. How good your writting skills are, how much you know how to write a good seo posts. It is always the best that you do it by yourself because you know the best what you want and need. It is very much worth to learn something about it.

If you have someone else who writes for you please make agree on what you want and need and be in contact at all times.

If you don't have enough money for a good writer, better write it on your own. Do the proper research and give your best. If you pay to someone and he don't do a good job, eventually you'll lose money and time.

That's great advice, one which I will take. I never looked into this before, will do so tomorrow and will post a page here for critique when done so hopefully you guys can scrutinize the life out of it and help me perfect it?

If you truly are strapped then you are probably best learning and doing it yourself. Its not just a matter of getting a bad writer at low prices and it not helping your SEO. Some "Writers" on the low end can actually hurt your site and tank your business. They can even get you in legal problems by lifting content from other sources. Copyscape doesn't always catch that. The guy working for little almost has to take shortcuts that are not good for your business.

Well, Yeah above commands are very useful for me but my suggestion is if you having an business you know the value of it right? Then we have to move so own content makes somewhat useful Than SEO content Righter! Is there is any difference for contents in old domain than an fresh domain how google gives priority to?

For example If an Parking Management Content Means? How it should be? It' based on the content about an service whatever it should be own or SEO written!

I have to agree with this, I did a virus repair job recently and asking the customer why he chose me, he said he "liked the words I had used in my craigslist ad", other people in the past has mentioned similar statements. I don't know if a writer can ever come up with the things I write or send the message I wish to send. However, I do think an experienced professional writer can help optimize a page better than I can.

Bottom line is I think that yes, people should create their own content then let the SEO writer re-write whatever needs to be re-written for better page structure and proper usage of kw's as long as they keep the owner's message intact.

I personally write all posts myself. The owner of the business I write for has pretty high standards but has extended trust to me to write for him, and I will write everything myself because I want to keep the writing style the same throughout the entire site. If you hire someone, you are putting your post or content at risk of low quality or sometimes it's even clear that there are multiple writers. And my boss likes consistency so that's just our arrangement

Yes, to get the right content and good keywords, not necessarily to go for a professional writer. If you have the capability to put the right content using relative keywords/key phrases, you can eventually drag readers to your site..

  • Writing posts yourself is a very time taking work. So, search some content writer who can write posts according to your niche and i know you'll not be fully satisfied with the post that your writer will write for you, you'll need to do some editing to your post according to your taste.
