Hi Warriors,

I have been building links at a rate of 10 links per day since at least 10 days ago, how long would it take to get all the links indexed? As of now, I have 41 inlinks as determined by Yahoo! Site Explorer. Also, is it possible for a Blogspot to rank at #1 in Google?

Thanks in advance!

Just ping the links you build, should be within a week!

Use keyword tracking software to keep track your keyword ranking, that's all I do, I don't really care about the Site Explorer backlinks, because I am ranking for Google, not Yahoo!!!

Rank Tracker in Market Samurai seems to do the job.

Well, my links are increasing at an average rate of 12 links per day (as determined by Yahoo! Site Explorer), so I think it has now balanced out.

For now, I'm continuing to write one article per day and getting 12 links per day (increased). I just need 100+ links to get to the #1 spot (assuming everything else is balanced, and only the quantity of links matter). Let's see if I can hit the top within a month.

Yahoo Site Explorer doesn't have anything to do with Yahoo Search. It's just the most reliable way of seeing where all your backlinks are. So the backlinks it shows you are not just "Site Explorer" backlinks: they are all your backlinks (up to, I believe, 1000 backlinks). It's really the best free online software for seeing your backlinks.

  • Indexing depends on what Google thinks of a site and how deep they crawl. Some of your links may never be indexed by Google or they all may be indexed. High authority sites get crawled more frequently and deeper. That's all there is to the "time" it takes.

Your links will get indexed at a max time of about 2-4 weeks. As it also depends on the indexing frequency of the sites that you have build links on.

ranking is based on the keyword you choose, a you get less chances by using highly competitive keywords like webmaster or any other common keywords, so pick wisely.. by the way if you wanted to rank high, gain lots of backlinks.. 10 per day isn't enough, I am building almost hundred per day for a certain keyword.

If you carry on with your link building at that rate and theres not too much competition then, you should be up there in 3 weeks ish

Just continue with this Speed and work on improving your site - this should show some results, also work on automisation - join networks / use tools like BMD, Link Juicer, SEO Elite... to find cool backlinks and / or build them automatically
