Question on duplicate content

Maybe someone can help me with this SEO question. I would be thankful!

In the image of this message, you can see the ending of a blog post. In this ending, I refer to another interesting blog post of mine.

Wordpress automatically picks an excerpt from that blog post, and copies it in the current blog post.

I assume that would be duplicate content.

What could be the solution?
- Is the solutuin: add a rel=canonical tag in favor of the post that I am referring to?
- Or is rel=canonical only meant for pages that are completely copied from other pages?
- What else would be the solution? Maybe just using no excerpts from other blog posts at all?

    The solution is you leave it just the way it is.. its just not considered duplicate content. There are close to 75 million wordpress sites on the net.. if this was a real problem..Im sure somewhere down the line of updates the feature would have been removed. Rest easy my friend.. there is nothing to worry about
