What works on the content network?

It's very easy to get lots of visitors from the content network using image ads but how best can you monetize that traffic?

I know that some people get higher conversions using the content network than they do with search traffic so what works best?

Clickbank products, CPA, list building, physical products?

    I have never really had much success with getting people to convert to sales using the content network. It seems to me that people who see your ad on a site somewhere are generally just surfing and not really in a buying mood. However, with the search network you can target the right keywords that people in a buying state of mind are using.

    That said I do think the content network is great for building a list. Since these people are mostly browsing different sites for information on whatever, they are much more likely to give you their email for some quality info.
