    Search for articles that were hot socially that are somewhat related to your industry using a tool like BuzzSumo. Then, use a backlink tool to find out if anyone linked to that specific article. If there are a lot of links, create something similar (not the same) that the places that linked to it would also appreciate. Then contact those places that linked to the original article, letting them know about yours.
