Duplicate content

Hi Guys,

I am doing a bit of Affiliate Marketing using Amazon Associates links.

I have been told I need the following on my site

Amazon Disclosure
Terms of service
Privacy Policy

There is a plug in that generates these for you but my question is, will this make my 3 pages duplicate content as other people have the same pages on their web sites?

    Google does not care about duplicate content the way people think they do. You are not going to get penalized for having the same content as other sites.

    The duplicated pages might be harder to rank, but you are not trying to rank those pages so who cares?

      Not only is Mike correct, but think about what it is he is saying. Are you really trying to rank well for your store policy pages? I hope not, so who cares if they are duplicates?

    You are telling yourself that you have duplicate content than how could we help?

    And what kind of content are we talking about? Is this something about the Amazon product or something about describing the product?

    They'd be no issue in putting noindex on all three of the pages mentioned above. You're aren't looking to rank Amazon Disclosure, Terms of service or the Privacy Policy. Furthermore, there's no penalty for duplicate content, even if you were to allow Google to index the pages.

    Don't Follow Duplicate content Google does not index your site , they put your site as a spam Best suggestion follow vgr training institute to get more knowledge , they provide full detail training for internet marketing .

    As per google statement, there is no duplicate content affected by the traffic for our website.

    HTTP and HTTPS
    www and non-www
    Parameters and faceted navigation
    Session IDs
    Trailing Slashes
    Index pages
    Alternate page versions such as m. or AMP pages or print
    Dev/hosting environments
    Pagination
    Scrapers
    Country/language versions

    Duplicate content wont rank well but it won't have an negative impact on the rest of your site and do you need your TOS and privacy pages to rank high?

    It is a part of internal duplicate content. if you are now then you need to use siteliner or you can hire any seo executive for this work.

    Personally, I'd just no-index, but it doesn't really matter. As long as you have the Amazon clear guidelines in place you are fine.

    Yes Google will consider these as duplicate pages. There is no harm of using them but also, there is no advantage as well.
