Not sure if this post/question is relevant to this section of the WF forum, but here goes...

If your book was ranked in the fourth position of +/- 45k search results of books in Google's book section for the keywords in your book title.

What would you do to rank in the first position of the search results?
#google #rank

Not trying to be funny but the last part of you avatar name is what you need , Companies pay large amounts of money to be seen first

And no social media will get you there , so if you focus on amazon and try and be number one on there list

And if you do not have a book why the thread ?

So are you saying that if you rank number 1 for your keywords in your book title in Amazon's search results, then you will automatically rank in the number 1 position in Google's search results for your keywords in your book title as well?

If you wish to miss read what was written that's up to you , simple things is this you don't have the budget to rank as number one on Google

I was meaning that if you have a book on Amazon and it is number one there great but if you are what ifing you are just wasting your time

There is no secret sauce or trick if you not have the massive budget you wont rank number one

The easier route is ranking YouTube videos.

Piggyback the Google Juice possessed by YouTube and promote your book in the videos.

If your primary keyword is hard to rank and, for example, gets 1,000 searches a month, then target enough long-tails that you rank #1 with each video, so that you're getting (in sum) your 1,000 searches.

You can probably rank your primary, but I'd need more variables to give a precise answer.

    Cheers,

    Tom

I think you must do following link building activities:
    1. Search Niche Directory Links and try to submit it.
    2. Join forum community and discuss the relevant niche and link your website on there which is not in promotional form, that's would ban you for forever. So, be remember don't post spam post in the threads.
    3. Create Blog and post it regularly as you can.
    4. Write Unique article content and submit to article sites.
    5. Do social bookmarking as per regular basis.
    6. Try to search backlinks of your competitor's website and make as the same as they did.

How much do you think that Companies pay an advertising org to do there ads on Google search? as I have been privy to an account cost I can say you are in the 6 figures+ so a normal person unless they have massive pockets can not get the number one spot

You got a point; having a website does not automatically guarantee financial success. You need to address issues like ranking and traffic.

    1. First, make sure your website is mobile responsive.

    2. Do you do on-site optimisation? Put the right keywords, key phrases, and tags on your site's pages. This is what helps Google determine how to rank your website.

    3. Many probably know about off-site optimisation.
Rank for your website using external methods, such as having links to your site appear on large platforms and popular blogs. This is important because a site's perceived authority or importance is determined by how many other sites are linking to it.

    4. White-hat SEO.
Some of the techniques I personally use are back linking, keyword analysis, and link building. The objective is to increase the popularity of the site through writing good content that other sites can link to, thereby increasing your site's rank.

    5. Black-hat SEO.
I don't recommend but those who practice black-hat SEO break Google's rules to achieve raise their website's rank. It is the direct opposite of white-hat SEO practices.

    Some of these techniques are:
    • Keyword stuffing
    • The use of invisible text
    • Creating fake pages to get the desired back links
    • Using doorway pages
    • Page swapping

This method, while seeing increased use, is still illegal and is not the best way to grow your online business.
You need both on-site optimisation and off-site optimisation for your site to be considered for a place on the first page of Google. The absence of these techniques is a sure sign that you aren't really looking to get noticed, and this naturally impacts on how much patronage you get from online channels. Hope, it helps.

There will be limited amount of onpage optimisation you can do so you are looking at getting high quality targeted links.

    Two things to consider:

Firstly are you really 4th? Or are you getting personalised results?

What's the pyschology of the search term?

I'm not convinced that someone searching "make money online fast" is really looking to buy a book.

Look at the other results on the page. I get 4 adverts before the fold followed by information and list sites.

These sites have good articles which will be linkable and will have low bounce rate as they provide the exact information you'd expect from that search term.

Are you saying people don't buy books in the make money online niche?

Then all the big branded, well known online marketers are wasting their time and money pay to advertise in that niche and sub niches, and rank in the number one position in Google's search results.

Create Youtube videos and rank your videos. The book you mentioned... is it for free, or has a price on it? If it's for free, stressing over the #1 ranking isn't worth it. If it's for sale, stressing over the #1 ranking isn't worth it. Have you considered its ranking in Yahoo and Bing?

Hi, I have some Tips for You To Rank 1# in Google:
Recently I'm Reading an article from backlinko which is about 7000-word long. Then I think It must be ranked 1 because it was insanely in-depth. You know What I Found? It Ranked 2nd. The Article which Ranked 1 was from NeilPatel with more than 10000+ word. Means it was more in-depth article than backlinko's article.
    Here What I Suggest You:
1.)Research #1 article for your keyword let's assume it was a 3000-word article with 21 topics covered. Now Write a 5000+ word article with All Topic covered for that keyword. You can Get New Idea's for your post from forums, Twitter or reddit.
2.)Go to buzzsumo and find who share your keyword's interest and show them your article.
3.)Let Google Handle all other things.

Absolutely, and with triple ranked pages for the book title keyword bumping Google Books down from position #1 to position #4.

The problem when trying to be number one in Google is that it depends on us only in part. It also depends in part on the behavior of competitors. And that also partly depends on the constant changes that Google makes to its algorithm.

That's why I think someone who is in the top five Google results should not be too obsessed trying to be number one.

Google crawler takes cache of books and gathers information about entities, or particular people, dates, events and places mentioned in author books.
Google also checks metadata of books that it crawls, which might be presented as structured data such as Author's details, name, publisher, year of publishing, edition, ISBN number, number of pages in books etc. A crawler may look the sales volume for a book, or current position on a best seller's list.

If you will be following all the natural ways to bring quality traffic, then it will take some time to list the website in top results. White Hat SEO is usually recommended in order to avoid bad affects on the website and naturally rank the site in top search results.

The different ways used to rank on first position are :
    1. Writing quality content on the relevant forums
    2. Submitting website to popular search engines
    3. Regularly updating blog
    4. Participate in Link Exchange Programs
    5. Commenting on the blogs

The content of the book is helping to rank.

Google Books usually has snippets of the book available to read for free, that same text is indexed in regular Google Search results, not just Google Books search results.

This is easy to prove the same as a regular self hosted webpage, or any webpage.

Simply search a snippet of text from the text shown on the Google Books preview page.

This stuff goes right back to SEO silos for webpages. Your book title needs the main keyword. Your book needs to be well structured in a logical order. Your table of contents needs to be keyword optimized.

Multiple book editions from the same author will help.

1st position? That a big ask even for low ranking keywords, you'll definitely need to spend money like other companies spend for seo out there, don't be fooled buy tutorials claiming you show you how you can rank your blogs easily.People pay a lot of money for SEO these days and there is a reason for that.My advise for starters, try youtube first, you can rank a lot easier and faster there and also facebook pages. They'll rank faster.A lot goes into website SEO ,so facebook pages and youtube helps reduce risk of google penalties.
