Can I decide which ads go on my adsense pages the same way that I can decide which sites to place my ads on in ppc advertising?

    Hi CaptainKirk,

It's the advertiser that gets to decide where their ads are placed. You cannot choose which advertisers select your pages, however you can block any particular advertiser that you don't wish advertising.

    To block third party ads:

You can influence the type of ads that target your web page by the content on your page. For even finer control you can use section targeting:

If you want to more closely target the ads to your content, you can use section targeting script available on google's site.

Added to the suggestion above, that's about the only control you have.

      Thank you Very Much,

To both DBurk & Kay. I read the google page and found this info quite enlightening & helpful.

However this line from google is vague, probably intentionally so:

"In order to properly implement this feature, you'll need to include a significant amount of content within the section targeting tags."

Any ideas what represents a "significant amount of content"?

      Many Thanks Again,

      Kirk
