Hi Gang

Well, it's been about 6 months since I've used Google PPC, have things changed? You used to put your auto content bid, stick in a couple of keywords, and then within 15-30 minutes, you were getting tons of impressions and clicks. I've set up a campaign in the same way about 2 hours ago, how long should I expect now to get traffic? I've set auto content bid at .5 pounds, which is about 75 or so cents, surely that must be enough??? Any ideas??

Thanks,
Phil

Content network campaigns typically take a little longer than search campaigns to start for some reason. It may just be an impression I have however. For sure, banners will take longer because they have to be reviewed by someone.

No way to tell if your bid is high enough. Many factors involved including your niche and number of competitors. You will typically pay the same on content as you do in search.

I see, thanks again Lucid. I've just noticed too it says my ad needs further investigation before approval, I think maybe because it is in the health niche so maybe they are being cautious????

    Thanks
