Should I submit my Sitemap to Yandex?

Hello,

I have a website in English that i submitted on Google Search Console and Bing, but I'm hesitant when it comes to Yandex.

A lot of spam and hacking attempts come from Russia that's what made me reluctant about the idea.

The source of my traffic is organic on SEO.

So in terms of SEO, based on your own experiences, would you recommend me to submit my website to Yandex?

    Google search us the number 1 search engine and in my opinion the only search engine you should submit your site to. I wouldn't trust hands especially if there is a high probability of phishing and scamming so to speak.

    Search Console lets you easily monitor and in some cases resolve server errors, site load issues, and security issues like hacking and malware. You can also use it to ensure any site maintenance or adjustments you make happen smoothly with respect to search performance

    If you think your website will generate traffic from people who speak and read Russian then yes. I would not submit it into Yandex just to gain traffic that won't mean anything. You want to spend your time receiving traffic from people who will be interested in your product, service, or information.

    It will not hurt to submit it and it does not take much time. If you think some Russians who speak and read English will be interested in your website than submit it. You should not worry to much about your site getting hacked. Your website should be secured already and if not, secure it some more.

    Two things.

    First of all, if you don't want Russian traffic, then why would you even be considering submitting the sitemap to Yandex? You don't get any bonus points from Google for submitting something to Yandex.

    Second, here's a little secret. Websites do not need a sitemap. Unless your site is over a half million pages big or has pages that would otherwise be orphaned, you won't see any benefit from having a sitemap. I have no idea why people obsess over them.

      Well if you don't submit the sitemap, how is google supposed to crawl your pages, especially the new ones, it may take a long time before Google notices and index them.

        Google will follow every link there is as long your site is hyper connected
        starting with index page. If you are placing pages and never bother to link
        to them to each other, then why should G. bother to scroll them?

          I see, but that's assuming that they are popular and getting traffic.

          But I'm considering also different scenarios, new articles that are highly valuable and better than the competition and they have no internal linking because there is no connection with other articles (happens sometimes), so if you don't tell Google to index it so it can be seen by the users on Google, if they engage with it significantly it will take the ranking of the article up, if not it will go down.

          But from what it seems to me, you can only put your article into the testing field by notifying Google, otherwise i'd have to wait for Google to recrawl my site, in the next day or the next month or so.

        Unless your site structure absolutely sucks, Google will have no trouble crawling your pages without a sitemap.

        And submitting a sitemap won't help new pages to get indexed any faster than they would without the sitemap.

      I argued for uploading a sitemap on Google, as for Yandex I didn't get any convincing answers to why i should submit to them.

      But the intake that i got from everybody is that if i think i can get some real customers from there, so i checked from Analytics and russian do not search for my website niche in english, so i don't think i will gain anything by submiting to Yandex, that's what i concluded.

    You can submit your website on Google/Bing only.
    Yandex will automatically crawl it later, so for now ignore it.

    I'm not too sure whether it can really help the development of your blog in terms of authority and traffic.

    But if you want to target visitors from Russia, you can try that method.

    Besides that, you can also do this if you have a blog or website that talks about Russia or at least in Russian.

    you have to submit in yandex too for increasing search rate. Submit as what you did in google and bing.but no need to submit in duckduckgo because it will automatically crawl your website .These three are important so don't ignore in submitting the sitemap.(Google,bing,yahoo)

    Add your site in the Yandex webmaster tool account successfully then go to the enter sitemap file tab and click the indexing section. Enter here your XML sitemap URL and click the add button to submit your sitemap.
