Any Suggestions on Specific SEO Tool?

Does anyone know of a tool that can allow me to know what is being searched in a specific region?

Example:

I want to know what is being searched the most in city,state

I'm in an area where I just need to know what is being searched the most regardless of keywords so then I can narrow down from there and build a community based on that search volume of those specific keywords.

I hope that I explained it right. What is being searched the most so I can build around that.

Various tool are available to analyze for viewing where are traffic coming from and will recommended that Google Analytics Tool is the best and free of cost where you can see traffic city, state, county and resources of paid or organic etc.

Hey thanks you two, I appreciate it. I figured if you want to grab the market, you have to know where the market is and how much of it you want. These visual maps really show a great description of the tool I'm looking, paid or free.

I seen the V1 analytics, nice channel. : )

  glad that was helpful - and agree their timeline visual was very well done. If you have a clearer idea of queries you're interested in, I'm sure you're aware that Google Trends is a very handy tool for regional interest for different things. In addition, I've found AnswerThePublic to be a fantastic resource that uncovers different questions folks have around specific topics.

  I love that you reflected me...it is so funny about how you answered this that I am smiling. Let me know when you wanna actually do something instead of just posting on forums. I was thinking about interviewing people live within certain types of websites, because the forum market will soon be fading into something even better.

Obviously, there are a lot of options, some free and some quite expensive.

As per my understanding you can check the google trends about what is being searched in the particular area/location. Or if you have a set of subjects or kw and you want to know their search volume or competition then you can go with google keywords planner.

Hmm. Not sure if there's a tool that gives top searches by a city.

We could break this into two parts

1. Identify hot topics in the location of interest. This will require some subjective analysis.
- Google Trends can give topics at the country level.
- Reddit popular pages again at the country level.
- Trending Twitter Tags in the location of interest.

2. Now we can plug these topics into tools like SEMRush, Google Keyword Planner to get to search phrases.
