Hi, I have a question

I want to change my blog category with all its post into one single blog post.

So, link will change, and also content to some extent.

I will also redirect 301 category link to the blog post...

Right now I'm ranking good for that category in google, if I change it, will i be able to conserve ranking? how long will it take to rank same as category?

internetmarketingiq has a great point. sure, 301 redirects usually work, but I wouldn't count on it. If you're already ranking well for some profitable keywords don't mess with the on-page (unless you've got a horrible design that can't convert).

If your website does convert well, work on linking building and other promotion.

erm, the only reason for doing restructuring was to remove clutter, decrease number of categories, and make blog more specific.

current ranking and analytics info for that category page:
    Pageviews

    7,526
    % of Site Total: 28.64%

Time on Page The amount of time a visitor spent on a particular page or set of pages.

    Time on Page

    90:00:38
    % of Site Total: 35.35%

Bounces The number of single-page visits resulting from this set of pages or page.

    Bounces

    884
    % of Site Total: 12.65%

so I better leave it ?
