Question About Comment Links and GPR

In cases where a Blog or forum allows anchor text links and the GPR is shown for the post. I would like to know if the GPR value, lets say GPR-7 for instance, is credited to your link in cases where there are many pages of comments and say yours goes to the end of page 4 where there is GPR-0.

In other words the lucky commentators that were first have their anchor text valued at the high rate of the post page, but does that higher GPR-7 transfer on through the whole list of commentators?

    If I understand the question correctly the answer is pagerank is spread equally amoung EVERY link on the page. This includes internal and external links.

      Right, that part is understood. The question is say the post and first group of comments on the GPR-7 page and at the bottom of the page you have to click deeper to see the rest of the comments and say it is 4 pages deep and by the time you get to your comment that you left, the GPR for that specific page is zero. So does the GPR-7 value transfer through to all of the comments or just those that are on the main page?

    The pagerank will transfer to the other comment pages if they arent nofollow. Depending on if they are paginated also and have direct links from the original post, how many links are on each page, ect is how much PR will be passed to each page that contains more comments.
