Hey, I've been trying to earn a revenue online, and decided to go for Adwords. I tried running adsense and optimizing SEO on my blog with good keywords, but the process is really slow and I would imagine I would only make 1-2$/day. However, if I start a ppc campaign targeting affiliate products, each sale could make me 20$+, so one sale a day would be a really great start.

I've researched a lot about keywords when setting up my adsense website, so I know quite a lot about them. For tools, I have Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai. My plan is to basically find high volume relevant searched keywords with low adwords competition, and bid low.

My questions are:

- I've noticed that google only show 8 adword ads, so should I still bid really low? I've planned on bidding ~0.10$, but I don't mind being 7-8th place as long it's on the first page since there is no competition.

- Is it possible to attain 1 sale for every 20 clicks (5% conversion rate)? Or what percentage is realistic?

Thanks!

It is difficult to say which will earn you more money - it depends on how you set up each site. Keep in mind that if you choose to go the Adwords route and bid on terms to send people to your affiliate products, you probably cannot link people directly to the affiliates site as Google will only allow one website to be listed in Adwords at a time. So if you go this route, you will need to either have a redirect to the affiliate page or a very good landing page that will send your visitors to the affiliate page.

Keep in mind that a 5% conversion rate is pretty high. An average conversion rate is about 2% with high being about 3-5% and anything over 5 doing extremely well.

Wait, I cannot link to the affiliate site directly? Is this new? Because I remember some time ago that it was possible to link directly to the affiliate site without having your own website. Or do you mean that only each term can only be linked to the website once, so for example if you have the keyword "BLA1 BLA2 BLA3", and google already listed an adword with this keyword, there cannot be any other ads associated with "BLA1 BLA2 BLA3" that links to the same website?

      Thanks.

That's exactly what it's like. Only one direct linking ad per keyword per website. However, there are certain techniques to get rid of this limitation, but normally you'll get caught at some time or another. However that may be, You'll definately want to set your own landing page as this will give you more control about keywords you can target, quality score, etc. And if you set up a good presell you can definately increase conversions.

If you want to do direct linking anyway, you should be VERY picky about the sites you want to direct link to, since it doesn't take much these days to have your Account banned. (I'm a rich ******* here are my Clickbank stats screenshots style sites...:rolleyes

yes you can have 20 clicks per sale, but you have to bid high, only on exact match with the buy word in front of the product name.

This is the best way if you want to have 20 clicks to 1 sale. But you will have to rank at least the top 3 position in order to have this result.

    Hai ,
what kind of website that you have launched and what is the product line . Adwords is the best way to make money by doing adsense arbitrage and affiliate marketing, even if you want to promote financial product , you can get listed in top by increasing quality score

    your bidding cost is cool

for sale, i m not sure that you can make 1 sale per 20 clicks, The avg conversation percentage is 1% and

so , just think about (100 clicks) * (Bidding Cost) < (sale) + (adsense revenue)
