Comments Pagination - Duplicate Content?

In the WP admin, there is a comment pagination option 50 comments per page. So, If we have 250 comments, 5 pages with different urls, but the same article content (and different comments) will be created.
Some say that this may be considered as a duplicate content by Google, and the page (even original one) could be punished. Any experience with this, and, if necessary, any solution?
