Getting Expired Domains Indexed - Free PR4 Links in Exchange

I own a growing number of expired domains. I have managed to get quite a few indexed but many of the aged, high PR sites are not getting indexed in Google. They are getting indexed in Bing.
At the moment I am using an auto social bookmark tool and RSSBot to get them indexed. But still, i have a couple that have been live for 2 or 3 weeks and google hasn't touched them.
Anyone have any experience of buying over expired domains and getting them indexed ? It looks to me as if Google is purposely not touching these.
They are well aged and have reputable links.
Any advice welcome, PM if you like. In return for help, I will gladly accept some unique articles and put them on a couple of PR4 and PR3 sites with links.
