Will AdWords Editor Maintain Ad group Structure?

Hi all,

My client needs to edit several AdWords ads, and I suggested we use AdWords editor to do this. The client, however, is under the impression that Editor won't maintain the current structure of the ad groups (and the keywords that are in groups). Is this true?

Thanks.

    Thanks.
I think he's mistaken...all you have to do with adwords editor is upload a current campaign from his account. Nothing will be changed at all when it is uploaded into Adwords Editor. There's no structure change, it's made by Google, for Google!

If you have to do a lot of changes and make hundreds of ads with different adgroups and keywords, a good thing to check out might be "SpeedPPC". It works with Adwords Editor. (expensive though)

I hope I understand the question...but I think AE is fine to use.

Thanks, JR! Yep, you understood the question fine. We need to edit one ad, but it's posted in 30+ ad groups. I figured AE would be fine for that.

AdWords Editor won't make any automatic changes on account without your confirmation.

It has advanced synchronization mechanism, so if two or more individuals changed account at the same time, you will get server changes merged with your local changes, and you will be able to choose what changes do you want to keep.
