How to Force Google's Cache...

What is the fastest method to get google to come back and cache your homepage once you have made changes to it?

I have a static html site and have modified the homepage about 10 days ago. The bot visits everyday, but the cache has not changed in 10 days. I have tried pinging but that doesn't seem to work.

I know the cache will eventually change but I'd like to give google a little nudge if I could.

Thanks!

That's what the Thanks button is for!

By the way, I though I'd mention that you may not be seeing the right cache yet, but it doesn't mean the page hasn't been re-indexed. Chances are the re-indexed page is loaded into a different datacenter than the one from which you are checking. Wait till the next data push for things to bget updated, and chances are you will be surprised that the date on new cache is older than you expected.
