PR3+ Domains Needing Content?

Hi guys

I have the unenviable task of getting a number of websites as far up Google SERPs as possible and requesting backlinks from other websites has not been successful. I was wondering if anyone had any domains (PR3+) that I could write articles for and in return include one or two backlinks within the content to these websites.

As they say content is king in SEO, i see that each party is a winner and gets something out of it!

Cheers

Neil

Why not submit those articles to the bit Article Directories and get the links from there?

I think those links will be better...

From my experience, there are only so many article directories that you can post to before the link juice that you get starts to become diluted. Whereas with individual websites, the variation and other determining factors seem to be more influential in search engine positions.

So, if anyone has any relevant websites please could you PM me.

      Thanks!

I've gotten some offers just like yours before (someone offering to write content for me in return for a backlink).

The problem is - Such people are often not serious about it and after I reply them, they disappear.

        If you could clarify here:

        1) What sort of articles (niche) you can write on
        2) Are they unique
        3) What sort of websites you will be linking to in the article or author bio
        4) How many backlinks you want

This will go a long way in getting some people interested in what you propose.

I think you might have better luck in the Buy Sell Links subforum within the WF as they deal specifically in this.

I think your best option would to be to use the time sent searching for sites, and use it for writing and creating content, and promoting through web 2.0 sites...

    Thanks for your replies.

The problem, in my opinion, with promoting through web 2.0 properties, i.e. blogs, is that this after a while this becomes less organic looking and there is no real diversity in where the links are from - meaning that if Google or any other search engine were to cotton on and devalue the link's weighting, then the website could fall down the rankings. Where as backlinks from websites, paid or non, there is less emphasis on these negatively affecting SERPs, unless they're from bad neighbourhoods.

Dellco, to answer your questions, I have a range of websites that I would like to promote, but predominantly at the moment they focus upon home improvements, DIY, tradesmen, etc. and so the (unique) articles would be based upon these, and therefore the websites that I am currently looking for should reflect these topics. I was thinking that 1 250 - 500 word article = 1 backlink.

So if anyone has any relevant websites, or even just a list of live websites that require content, it would be appreciated if you could send me a list. I am forever promoting a variety of websites, and therefore having a range of websites at my disposal would be appreciated.
