Heres something that still kinda confuses me, altho i have seen positive results with it..

Basically, who would want to wright boring articles about the niche your in and dont like. Small adsense sites for example. You can only wright so much about a product and even that is daunting and boring..

I have been creating articles about random stuff that i enjoy. (tourism etc) and then simply add a link in my bio to my product site. Its completely unrelated to the article but its still a link.

I have been doing this since the begining and i have 4 sites on the first page by doing this. I was just wondering what you guys think about it..

Is it "ethical" to do this? (it is in the resource box not in the content which helps)

What are your views?

    The only reason not to do that is because you are leaving some traffic to your site out there un-tapped.

    1) If you have an article about "traveling to the Bahamas" and it is interesting and then it links to your website about "cat sweaters", then no one will click on the link. BUT, you get a back link to your site.

    2) If you had an article about the Bahamas and it goes to your website about traveling to destinations, then people would be very compelled to click on your link. SO, you get a back link, AND the traffic that comes from that article, AND the sales that result from that traffic.

    I like option 2 better. But one can do either option of course.

    I've actually done both, sometimes it's just a bad niche that you don't want to write about. But I've steered clear of those niches that I'm not interested in and my income has increased dramatically!

    Great, thanks for the reply..

    Im not interested in recieveing traffic from my articles.. They are simply there for the backlink so i can get organic traffic.

    So in my case, there is nothing wrong with adding unrelated links.. Thanks for clearing that one up
