strategies for back links

For a new site I start by article marketing. Once you have some good contextual backlinks you can start adding forum profiles and blog commenting. One thing that seems to be working great for me is to add a couple of .EDU profile backlinks.

Article writing and blog commenting works well. I found that neat trick the other day to find places where you can find .edu links.

You simply do a search on Google with "keyword phrase" +inurl:blog site:.edu and you should find things that you comment on thats a .EDU.

I usually build links by commenting on related blogs, posting on forum, and press release. Just comment wisely to the on going discussion without spamming

Forum posting, .edu profile links,social bookmarking on sites like socialadr and stumbleupon,article marketing.....the list may go on and on,you just got to find the one that suit you and workes for you.

These are the methods that is usually use by respected SEO's
1. Article Submission w/ high quality content
2. blogging w/ regular post of related article and well optimized page
3. blog commenting and forums w/ quality commenting attitude that benefits the odds.

Having a wordpress template designed for you then adding in your backlinks can be very effective. Espessially if it's a design people end up really liking. Post it to every free template site you can.

Some people will remove the URL's but many will either forget or not notice them if they are at the bottom of the page.

Yet many SEO continue to sell these methods as link building services, Just think about it, you pay somebody to do a blog post about your website, they write a post and place a link to your website.
