Hi guys,

I'm familiar with Adwords in general but there is one thing I don't know and hope that some experts here can help out.

Let's say person X has an Adwords campaign running for a few months and has a QS of 10. He then stops his campaign cause he's selling his site off to a new owner. New owner takes over the exact PPC campaign one by one incl. keywords/phrases and display/landing URL. Will the new site owner start from scratch in regard to QS and likely end up paying much more in regard to PPC and have worse rankings? (than previous owner had)

That's one thing I always wanted to know and maybe some of you can shed some more light into this.

Thanks!

Not if the same account is maintained. You can also import/export campaigns with the Adwords Editor and if you have a good quality score & CTR you should absolutely do that because history is huge.. HUGE!

As Brad & dzo have indicated you can import and export your camps, to add / you only mention q score 10 / please understand and clarify because a q 10 score still does not indicate a person is making money.

also ask what is the ctr / how many clicks a day / what is the conversion rate / what is the cost of a conversion. get some of these questions out there as well

do not be blinded by a sparkle q 10 alone, id rather a q 7 that converts at a profit over a q10 that does not make sales and sucks cash.

Thanks guys for your replies, much appreciated. Banning is not an issue I think, it's just the fact that someone else would start promoting that website (while the old owner would stop it of course) but I understand that the new owner would likely start from scratch building up history. As I understand, that history of a campaign cannot be transferred with the export/import function?
