How long for backlinks to show up?

I outsourced getting some profile backlinks done. How long does it take for them to show up? I have checked several backlink checker programs and none of the sites have them showing up yet. I also ran them thru Market Samurai and still nothing. I'm not sure how long it should take. I have verified that the links were built. I have checked over their work and everything seems to be fine. My site is ranked #8 with no outside promotion so far, and 0 backlinks showing up, but I did manage to get an exact domain KW, so I am sure that helped. Getting 80-90 uniques a day with nothing but on-page seo in the # 8 spot, so I am encouraged.

    Could take a few days, a week, a month, sometimes never. It's really annoying, but true. I have a site with 4,000 backlinks at least. Do you know how many show up on the tools? Around 325. Why? Don't know, but it can really drive you crazy. That's why you need to keep track of the backlinks you make so you know how much promotion you've done.

    I found that submitting my backlink (ones that don't show up on checkers) to Social bookmark services. Like Digg, Reditt, Stumbleupon. It helps the google crawler bot move faster.

    I also tend to see my backlinks show up first on yahoo. search- Link:www.yoursite.com

    Weeks months never. Same advice to you as I give to everyone else who asks this exact same question about three times a week in this forum

    Build links, do something to enhance the potential for them being found, move on to building more links.

    Don't waste your precious life checking they are indexed, just keep building.

      I appreciate any help that I get and i try ti give as much as I take. But this is the 2nd time that you seem to begrudgingly answered a post that I made. If you have a problem with it why do you respond? Why not just ignore?

    Yahoo shows more and google less, spread your links, concentrate on results. Time taken: days, weeks, months, we can not say for sure.

    Indexing and showing backlinks depends no the quality of websites you are making backlink in them. For example some websites are authorized and when you make profile on them, your profile will be indexed within an hour and you can see your backlink fast but for some other websites it takes some days and i have seen some profile pages too that will not be indexed after one months too.
