Please, share how you are doing the Allintitle:''keyword'' research. Manually it takes a lot of time, especially when you are working with thousands of keywords.

Scrapebox does this..the software is used for blogs so it will mostly look for those BUT you can still scrape all of google with the Allintitle, allinurl etc method.

So i can paste a list 100 keywords in scrapebox and it will search for them in google using the Allintitle: ''keyword'' parameter and display the numerical results?

it will bring back thousands upon thousands of sites if you put in 100 keywords.....you will need to use private proxies and the results would take a while, but yes. The with those urls you can post blog comments on them to help with back linking. it will not show you numerical BUT provide you the actual URL itself. This tool may not be really what your looking for but it does have this feature.

I agree. Scrapebox is probably the best for finding sites like these. It's why the black hatters like it for comment blasts.

I am curious... would you be willing to pay for such a program? Like maybe $10?

I was looking for the exact same thing yesterday and did not find it.

I was considering writing the program that would simply returns the number of sites for each keyword. So you paste in a big list and get back the count for each. It would probably have to support proxies to keep from getting banned.

A few hours work and this was born!

[Screen shot would have been here if I had 15 posts - I will after this one so look for the screen shot in the next comment]

It took about 25 seconds to process 50 keywords. I will probably drop the words "About" and "Results" so that you can then sort by the "All in Title" Column.

As I thought, I did get a temporary ban from G after running these 50. Actually I got 49 results back and then they must have banned my IP.

So if I want to make this into a usable tool I will have to add the ability to harvest and use proxies. Probably also add an option to slow down the time between requests.

I can add import/export capabilities. To import keywords from file instead of copy/paste. To export results to text file or excel.

Thoughts on if I should continue? It would be really easy at this point to also include a column for "All In Anchor" next to the "All In Title" column.

I was thinking about a $10 price tag if I released it. If I get enough people interested I will work on finishing the project.

I was planning on including #2 and #3 anyways for myself. #1 is actually a good idea. I always forget to think outside of the usa (google.com) site. That is easy and would just be replacing the .com with .fr or .ru or whatever in the url string that I am passing.

I can only work on this a few hours every evening. Maybe if some others would chime in that they are interested it would motivate me to finish it sooner

I got almost everything working... I am just hung up on the proxies. I can import a list from a text file no problem but I am having issues with getting 503 errors returned from Google. I am trying to research this problem and have not found much. To the best of my knowledge I am getting the 503 because they are requesting a captcha. I guess I am going to have to figure out how to show that captcha image and allow entry. If it wasn't for this proxy/captcha issue I would have it done right now. I am going to work more on it this week and see if I can't tackle this.

On another note I tried doing this in Micro Niche Finder and it does not do it automatically. You have to click on a link in each keyword and then click an allintitle link to return it just for that one keyword.

This is still a work in progress. G's captcha is doing its job and giving me a major headache. Allintitle searches are quick to ban and most public proxies are already banned and require captcha from the first request I make. I am trying to come up with a way to minimize the number of captchas that need to be entered. This would probably mean that I would pick a proxy and solve the captcha then do as many requests as I can. Once it becomes banned I would pick another proxy and start all over again.

Anyone have any other suggestions for dealing with this?

My first attempt at this created a new session on every request and that then requires a captcha for each request(keyword).

between requests. If you are making machine gun requests you will be banned quickly. I don't blame Google for that at all. Also, do you set your headers properly (exactly as a browser would)? And verify with Fiddler?

I have a market samurai clone that I'm testing now and I don't have too many issues with lockouts if you do it correctly. I don't use proxies either.

I have also used Fiddler and and everything matches up exactly except I only get one cookie and a real browser gets 3. I am getting my initial response from webexception.response since it throws a 503 and the captcha is then provided. I am thinking I am somehow missing those 2 cookies. I have put out a 24 hour bid on freelancer since this is driving me nuts for days.

The 503 is because of too many requests. Good luck with the other cookies, I believe they come from executing Javascript on the page.

You can also try automating it thru the webbrowser control, you can invoke a click event and then scrape the # of searches with a regex or string patterns. It can even be done hidden in the background. The control craps out though with certain javascript programs, maybe its my machine though.

I tried that code with WINET and it worked but I just don't want to be making changes to peoples IE. So I agree proxies do work with the web control but I just don't think I want to go there.

I do not own Market Samurai. I do have Micro Niche Finder but it is so slow now after the Google changes that I can't bear using it until they make it faster... if they even can or will. I also have Scrapebox but cannot figure out how to get just the All In Title counts. I don't think you can... but I could be wrong.

I think I will still move forward on this software. I think it would be a quick and easy way to spot niches that are easy to rank for and I have a pretty good start on it so far.

Sounds like threading may be a solution too. Throw each proxy captcha request in a thread. That gets tricky though. I use threading to find all the anchor text in the yahoo backlinks.

I have not implemented threading yet. I have done it in other apps I have created and it is tricky like you said. I planned to do that before taking it public. I think now is the time to give it a shot.

Very true about scrapebox. I have it and love it but it does not produce the results exactly like I am trying to do here. At least I could figure out how to get it. I would not want to try and reproduce everything that it does though... way too much work. I will stick to the simpler single task jobs like this one. LOL

I just had Slick Niche Finder (in my sig line) updated to include intitle searches from Yahoo. Yahoo doesn't kick you out like Google does. I have to update the sales page and upload the latest edition, but if you want a review copy, I will be happy to send it to 3 people.

Essentially, it uses the google keyword tool, and for the results it finds the average pagerank of page 1 results in google, the number of results for a "keyword" search in google, and the intitle number in yahoo.

I have market samurai and it doesn't do the pagerank piece. I wanted to see that, which is why I had the software developed.

The only problem with it, is that it is slow. But i couldn't get around that. I would welcome thoughts or those interested in a review copy. PM me.

Ok I should have checked this earlier as I know this happens with captchas. (Kicking myself!) When I get the response it hits the image for the first time. I thought since it had a unique id/filename that if I hit it again I would get the same image. Turns out if I take that image url and put it into IE everytime I refresh the page I get a different captcha. So basically my code is working it is just that I am displaying the wrong captcha. So now i just need to figure out how to only hit the image file one time and download it to re-display.

PR checking should go very quickly if programmed right. Not more than 5 seconds for what you listed.

Domain age and backlinks take some time.

I calculate unquoted, allintitle, quoted, avg pr of the domain vs the page and a few other metrics.
My software is very comprehensive, down to keyword density on the page, and it takes around 30 seconds to run a keyword, but I do other stuff in the background, like pulling other keywords, ad descriptions, instant searches....

Some guy was selling a keyword tool that is supposed to give a red, green or yellow light on a niche. He said weight loss recipes are very easy to rank. With a PR of 4.3 and all authority sites I kind of disagree. I wonder what methodology he is using.

FINALLY! Got the captcha licked! Now I can move on and finish up this project. I guess I need to check into how to cancel my freelancer gig.

It turns out that I was only displaying the image once. The initial httpwebresponse does not actually hit the image as it only gets the html code. I was setting the picture box to the image url directly. This was my mistake. I spotted in Fiddler that when you do it in the web browser that the cookie was passed when downloading the image. So I set up another httpwebrequest/httpwebresponse to download the image using the cookie and then set that image to my picture box. It works every time and as long as I keep the cookie container I don't have to keep entering the captcha on each keyword.

So I just have to put the finishing touches into this and add some threading and we will hopefully have a very cool and simple tool that does one thing and does it well!

You are lucky you can snag the captcha url. It is not possible to do in adwords. The browser control is very touchy with javascript, and that would be the only way to get the link. Does your web control load adwords without errors?

Here is a quick project update for those of you interested and a screen shot to see how the interface is shaping up. I fell a little under the weather and had a few days that I was unable to work on this. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of this project to this point. You simply import or copy and paste your proxies in and hit the test proxies button. All the bad ones get marked as failed so you then hit the remove failed button. Also if you set the timeout anything that takes longer then those many ms will also get marked as failed. So you then have a nice clean list of proxies to work with.

So import or copy/paste in your keywords

and hit "Start Scraping". I have this configured to start with the first proxy and try 10 requests on each. This can be adjusted in the requests box. So normally you will get back 10 keywords per proxy and the software will jump to the next proxy and repeat the process. I am having good success with using 10 and not seeing many bans. If you do hit a captcha a popup will ask you to confirm it you are good for the remaining 9 requests. Then it moves on to the next proxy.

You can also adjust the timeout on the initial request of each keyword. I currently have that set to 20 seconds to avoid timeouts. The interval is set to 2 seconds and is adjustable but this is simply a pause between requests to lessen the chance of a temp ban.

I added the status bar to the bottom so that you can see which proxy is currently being used, the number of requests against that proxy, the current keyword being processed and the number of keywords remaining.

Like I said I am happy with the outcome. I still have some cleanup to do and a little more testing but the core functionality is done and working. The speed is not bad and really depends on the quality of your proxies. I have been able to process 100 keywords in time frames ranging from 10 to 15 minutes. I think I can even speed that up with a little more tweaking. I think this tool has the potential to be a big time saver.

So I am going back at it to try and put the finishing touches on this and get it ready for release. I have requests for google.com, google.fr and google.ru. What other countries would you like to see? Each one needs to be added in manually as it turns out the captcha process is slightly different. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I actually was going to add a combo box for this which would offer several different formats of allintitle searches. So yes that will be included.

I am looking to finish this up probably in January since things are busy due to the holiday.

I really thought I would get a lot more conversation over this tool... based on this thread I am not so sure it would do well as a WSO.

Here is a little update on my progress this evening...

This software is so flexible that the speed is really determined by you. You just have to be careful not to get it going so fast that you get a ban without captcha option. After using it for a while you should find the sweet spot.

I just lowered the interval between requests to 500 (1/2 second) from 2000 (2 seconds) and also increased the number of requests per proxy from 10 to 20.

The outcome...

100 allintitle keywords in 4 minutes with only having to enter 5 captchas! None of the proxies got banned without proxy option with these settings!

Will it go faster... sure... decrease the intervals and increase the requests per proxy. Just be careful or you will temp ban the proxy without captcha option.

I also coded the program to mark the proxies that get banned and it will not try it again in that run. It also marks them failed if they start to not respond for some reason. So if you hit the bottom of the list and start through the proxy list a second time it will save time by avoiding those known bad proxies.

I use the decaptcher service with scrapebox and other SEO tools I have. I just downloaded their API and if it is not too hard I will be implementing decaptcher into this program next. Decaptcher will be optional as it is not free and does require a username and password. Decaptcher does not break the captcha but rather is read and solved by a human and returned back into our program. I am pretty sure on that last statement but someone can correct me if I am wrong.

So then it will be 100% on autopilot for the complete list of keywords. The only thing that would prevent it from completing is if your entire list of proxies failed before completing all the keywords.

This tool is exactly what I'm looking for right now. Now, if as you say, Micro Niche Finder only offers this under circumstances where you have to click every keyword one at a time, I'm just wandering if perhaps you've found a gap in the market here.

I've not used MNF or Market Samurai, actually I'm still on Traffic Travis for the time being, which doesn't offer this. TT is too simple, as you probably know.

However TT does offer a very well laid out analysis tool of the top 20 results for any search term for page backlinks, site backlinks, PR, whether or not the keyword is in the title, meta description, H1 tags. It even checks yahoo and DMOZ listing status.

The point is that it's very convenient because it offers a lot of the data I need in one place for immediate comparison. Now considering that the top 10, or top 20 results analysis is one major section of all good keyword research, have you thought about gradually broadening your tool to cover as much as possible of what isn't included in this task? So then, just like the TT results page, I'd have a lot of useful information in one place that can be directly compared to save me time.

What would be ideal is if you added a Google phrase match results column as well.

And you've got the edge of having the presumably unique status of using proxy rotation for all in title and all in url searches to avoid temporary bans, as have been giving me headaches recently.

Anyway, it looks really good so far and I'll buy it as soon as it's ready.

  The speed for the allintitle results really depends on the quality of your proxies. I have been getting about 100 keywords checked in time frames from 10 to 15 minutes. Keep in mind also that 3.5 minutes of that is just idle time as I have a 2 second pause between requests. That pause time is customizable and you can set it to whatever you want to try. Also I set the timeout to 20 seconds so if you have a proxy that is bad it takes 20 seconds on each attempt to timeout. I am planning on having the option to remove bad proxies on the fly to eliminate this timeout on multiple passes.

In my testing that I am doing I am pulling my keyword lists from Google Adwords Keyword Tool and I keep finding myself jumping back and forth to see what the exact local and global counts are. So yes I can see how having all this info in one place would be a convenient time saver.

These time frames are clearly a significant improvement on what I'm able to get right now.

With Keyword Corral, I can only avoid the G automated queries problems by settings the delay to 30 to 60 seconds, twice for every keyword, for AIT and AIU competition. I have a lot of keywords to check, and right now, for example, I'm in the process of checking 220, which is going to take a few hours at this rate, it's a real problem.

I really think that as long as you specifically delineate the problem that you're fixing in your sales pitch, you should be able to do well with this product.

Thanks. I will definitely stress the amount of time that can be saved. I have never done a WSO before or released a software program so this is all new to me. All my programs have always been for personal use or for use by my current employer which is not Internet Marketing related.

I know I mentioned a price point of around $10 but after the amount of work I have put into and still need to do on this project I am thinking a $27 price point for warriors is going to be more likely. I would hope to eventually release it publicly maybe using Clickbank for a higher price point.

You guys have inspired me to get back on this a little sooner then I planned.

Once the program is ready I will be hand picking a few people that have really helped me with the development of this product by participating in this thread. Those people will be getting the software for 100% free with lifetime updates. Of course it would be nice if you would then provide a honest review of the product in return once I start up the WSO. Thanks for everyone that has helped me so far!

While allintitle is a good starting parameter, I find that you then need to run an "allinanchor" search to see what the competition is from other SEOers trying to rank for that keyword. Allintitle alone can give you a somewhat false/small picture sometimes.

Would it be very difficult to add the "allinchor" search capability as well. If so you'd have some kick arse software my friend

I had a column for allinanchor but removed it before doing the screen shot. If you look the data grid is much wider then it needs to be. That is because I planned to include allinanchor but I didn't have it running yet so I took it out.

Adding it in is not a problem but getting those results would double the time it takes. So I am thinking I would just make it so that you can run one at a time. That way if you only want on you can do that and it would take half the time.

Market Samuari can do this, but if your used to Scrapebox, then you can easily use Scrapebox to do it as well. It depends on the size of your keyword list, if you just want the intitle results, then scrapebox is faster, but if its for say, competition analysis across 100 keywords, market samuari would take, well quite a lot longer, but would provide you with all of the information you'd need to complie a competition analysis report easily.

I do have Scrapebox and for the life of me can't figure out how to make it do this. If you know please spill the beans. I can run an allintitle search on a keyword list but it returns lists of harvested websites from that... not a total number of allintitle results from each keyword.

I don't own Market Samurai but have asked many times for someone to provide me a screen shot where it shows Allintitle results for a list of keywords. If it does do it I might consider adding it to my collection of tools.

I bought Micro Niche Finder and loved it but now it is pretty bad since Google shutdown the one API. The speed is terrible with MNF to the point where I refuse to use it. So I dont want to run out and get Market Samurai until I know it does what I want for sure. From the videos on their site it does not look like it does.

I got the Decaptcher API integrated into my program and I just ran another 100 Allintitles that required 5 Captchas and I didn't have to enter any of them. The Captcha popped up but was grayed out since I asked to use Decaptcher. After a few seconds the API automatically filled in the Captcha and the Captcha popup window automatically closed. Then my program continued getting Allintitle results.

I got a Decaptcher test button on the form that returns your dollar balance if you have everything configured properly.

That was not as nearly as difficult as I thought it was going to be.

  This evening I added the following functionality to the All in Scraper.
  
  -tossed around what was suggested about pulling in search counts from google adwords keyword tool (GAKT). I decided that I do not want to over complicate this program. I want it to do one thing and do it well. That one thing is pulling allin search results. So what I decided to do instead is offer the option to import a GAKT CSV file. So I researched my keywords in GAKT and exported my csv list. Once I import it into my program you see the following columns; competition, global searches, local searches and AVG CPC. So then you run the all in scraper and you can see those results right next to all the GAKT results. They then can all be exported. To me this is an awesome feature. I was able to quickly find keywords with low allintitle results but high search volumes. The search volumes will either be exact, broad or phrase and that is determined by how you had GAKT setup when you exported the CSV file.
  
  -partially added support for allintitle (AIT), allinanchor (AIA) and allinurl (AIU). All 3 will be able to be ran with or without quotes (Q). Going to finish this up tomorrow.
  
  -laid out the form differently to accommodate for the addition of all the GAKT columns and allin columns. I am displaying 6 allin columns for each type of allin search; allintitle (AIT), allintitle w/quotes (AITQ), AIA, AIAQ, AIU, AIUQ. Then you can use checkboxes to tell the program which allin searches you are interested in getting back. I went this route so that you could see AIT and AITQ side by side... or all of them side by side. Keep in mind the more you run the longer it will take.
  
  -totally removed the captcha popup when using decaptcher service. Makes it much more streamlined. Just so you know how many captchas are being entered I added two more items to the status bar; Captchas Solved and Captchas Failed. These statuses get updated even if you are not using the decaptcher service and are answering them yourself.
  
  -added the capability to stop the scraper and start back up where it left off later. Even if you export the results you have so far and import them later you will not have to check the allins you previously checked. If you would want to check them again from the beginning you would just import your original CSV or TXT file.
  
  So I got a good bit done this evening. I am also making a list now of what I still want to implement in the program before releasing it. Maybe tomorrow I will through up another screenshot so you can see the GAKT changes. I am particularly excited about that addition. I almost want to stop programming this just to start finding new niche keywords... but I won't because I know a bunch of you are waiting to get your hands on this

Too much blood, sweat and tears went into this so far for me to hold to the $10 price point I mentioned early on. I mentioned it before but when it is released in January I will be looking at $27 for a Warriors pre-release and then later $47 maybe through Clickbank.

  Hey Elite Proxies offer about 350 free L1 proxies a day, maybe you can make it so they are automatically loaded into the software each day?
  
  Surely because L1 proxies completely disguise the fact that any proxy is being used, the odds of the 'automated requests' error would be even lower with these. Then maybe we could run the software with lower timeout settings.

  That is a great idea but for me to make my early January deadline it will have to be a feature that is included in one of the updates. Lifetime updates will be free with this product.
  
  For now maybe a link on the copy/paste proxies form would be easy to implement.

  So here is an updated screen shot of the program.
  
  Several changes from the last screen shot. You will see all the additional columns in the keywords grid. I used abbreviations for the "all ins"
  
  AIT = allintitle
  AITQ = allintitle with the keyword in quotes
  and so on...
  
  The other columns are only populated when you import keywords from a Google Adwords Keyword Tool (GAKT) csv file.
  
  Also the additional buttons called Scrape Selected and Scrape All Selected. The Scrape Selected button will scrape the selected(highlighted) keywords in the grid for only those allins you have checked. The Scrape All Selected button will scrape the selectes(highlighted) keywords in the grid for all the allins regardless of your allin selections above.
  
  So what I did in this screenshot was scraped 100 keywords for only AIT in about 3 or 4 minutes and then sorted by AIT. I believe AIT to be a pretty good way to judge the ease of ranking. Then I scrolled down a little ways until I found some higher paying keywords with some traffic. Then I highlighted about 10 keywords and hit the Scrape All Selected button to return all the results for those 10 keywords. Those results are what you see in the screen shot. This was just an example for you to see one way of using this tool.
  
  I also got the option to use the Decaptcher service working and a test button to test your username and password. It returns your balance in a popup if configured properly.
  
  I also added the option to remove individually selected proxies.
  
  You can't see it in the screen shot but google.com, google.fr, google.ru and google.nl are all loaded in the Site drop down and all of them are tested as working.
  
  So what is left to do?
  
  Well I need to implement a software licensing module of some sort. I think I going to let anyone download the program and run it at no cost with a 5 keyword limit. So this would be like a trial mode. Then once they make the purchase and register the software that 5 keyword limit would be lifted. I think this would be a great way for people to be able to try it out at no cost and see how well it works and then register it.
  
  I also want to make improvements to the Proxy testing. Currently it is just testing to the site in the settings box. It turns out that many come back ok but then doing the allin it fails because of a ban without captcha option. So I want to give the option to actually test the proxies for allin capability instead of just browsing capability. This way you will have a better list of proxies for your keyword run.
  
  I really want to add an exact com/net/org domain check for the keywords. It might be pushed off for an update down the road, but this would give you some sort of indication maybe a green light or a check mark if the keyword is available to be registered as an exact match domain.
  
  Other then that it is almost ready. I want to make a few cosmetic changes and do a little of my own bug testing but then it will be ready for some user testing.
  
  I registered a domain name for allinscraper and started to collect emails of interested folks. Those folks will be the first notified of the release date then followed by the folks in this thread. Well this will hopefully be my last screen shot update until the final product is ready for some testing.

I have added an advanced proxy check option that actually checks the proxies to see if they will work with "allin's" and also returns if each proxy will require a captcha or not. This will eliminate getting a bunch of proxys that work for web browsing but banned without captcha for "allin" searches.

The cool thing is that the advanced check takes really no longer then the simple check. The only extra requirement is that you load up the keyword list before running the advanced check. The advanced check uses random keywords from your keyword list to perform the "allin" proxy testing.

When I research a keyword I put the search term in quotes and then go to the last page of Google. You will the see a message that says:

In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 804 already displayed.

The number above is the key. If the number is under 300 I can usually rank on the first page. 300+ - 600 is a bit tougher and over 600 is really tough.

Is there anyway to have your software to pull that number. I have been looking for software to do this for a long time.

Ok you have really got me interested in this one. How did you come up with this system? What would you call that number if you were to label it? How long have you been working from this number? Are you sure it works and how many sites have you setup based on this number?

I have never heard of other people using this number and if we could put together a quick product with an ebook or case study to go along with it I think that would be pretty successful. It almost sounds to me like you found a magic number. LOL.

I run a private offline SEO company and I have used this number for both myself and many offline clients. It works very well. The problem is that it takes a long time to work through a large collection of keywords one by one. It has proven to be a very good guideline and if there was a way to automate that number along with the search volume, that would be a huge help!

I called this feature RC and RCQ. It stands for "Real Competition". The Q means that the keyword will be in quotes.

It is implemented and working in All In Scraper (AIS). All the bugs that have been reported to me are corrected and things look pretty stable.Last night I made a quickstart guide for using the software. I still want to make a video that pretty much follows the quick start guide.

So we are getting really close to a finished product here.

Thanks for all your help and comments. Don't be afraid to speak up and suggest new features like fvandy did. I mean in less then 3 days I took his suggestion and implemented it into the AIS. Thanks fvandy for the suggestion and I can't wait to start analyzing keywords with another metric "RC".

Sorry for the delay! We are getting real close to launching All In Scraper. I am still shooting for this month. I guess it all depends on how long it takes to get a WSO setup and approved. I have to fix a few minor bugs in the program that some of my beta testers have found. I am also working on my sales page as we speak. Then I want to make 1 video of how the program works and then we should be looking at a launch.
