I recently put a video out that was optimized - there was no KW stuffing involved. My video hit #7 on the first page. Now, it's de-indexed. Just wondering if someone has had that happen to their youtube vids before...

How do you know the video is de-indexed?
Easy. I did a google command and quotes - nothing showed up. I would put site:[url] - shows nothing. On my youtube videos that is indexed - it will show up in google when I put the URL in quotes and also the site google command.

Happened to me as well. I made a video about 8 days ago for a local client. It ranked immediately (by the next day) and so I proceeded to build some links to it...de-indexed.

I have no idea what happened, however, it is evident that I did something to piss off the Gooogle powers that be.

The video appears for searches on Youtube, however, nowhere in Google SERP's.

In an effort to revitalize this thread to see if anyone has some answers....love to hear some of your thoughts.

I've had this happen to me as well. About 6 months ago, I could rank videos on the first page and they stuck. Now I see the same from when searching from my computer, but when doing a search from another location or checking the rank with SEO power suite, not even in the top 100.

In terms of local search... I think Google knows my IP / location as the one that uploaded the video (no, I'm not logged into my account or even using the same computer). I also think Google has gotten wise to the video ranking tricks we've been pulling. Really... most of the videos we rank do not offer anything to the user but a link to the main website. It makes sense that they're removing the short 30-60 second Animoto videos so many are ranking on the first page.

All my youtube videos were de-indexed also... They were indexed within minutes. Then, 3 days later, I checked how are they doing in the serps... I was shocked that all my videos are all gone... but they are still on youtube.

How can I bring my videos back to google?

They are not deindexed if they are on youtube.

Youtube videos live on a page that is created dynamically.
There are multiple ways to access a youtube video.

If google removes your videos from youtube, well, that's a
      different story.

Did you know the rest of the known world searches for videos
on youtube? Why people search for a video from google.com
is beyond me. That's not what real people do.

well...havent verified anything yet, but I am removing and saving all of my videos to my hard drive on this new computer since I read in another forum that anyone can flag your video and you have your entire account shut down. I have several ranked with thousands of views so I would hate to lose that , yet would hate to lose the videos even more. just a heads up to you guys.

Bob, live in freedom. Google rarely deletes "normal" videos. They believe in
a free internet. However, they do delete accounts for nefarious
      reasons.

Live in freedom Bob. Google is nothing to fear.

You're using blogspot as well. Another google product.

      Again, no fear.

      Only fools have to fear.

I know this is an old thread. But this just happened to me. I wanted to know if anybody found out any information on this.

I put up a video 2 days ago and it ranked. But the next day when I checked it it was gone. But when I searched for it on my phone it was still on google where it was on day 1. I don't understand.
