I was just wondering if anyone would care to critique my plan. It's for a site whose competition isn't really that fierce. The plan itself goes like this basically.

1) I write one keyword optimized 500 word plus article a day.

2) Submit to the following sites manually.
Article directory submit and find free articles on A1articles
Article-Mania | Free Article Directory
Submit articles or find free articles
Reprintable Articles For Websites And Newsletters. | ArticleBiz.com
ArticleCity.com - Free Articles for Reprint. Free Articles for your web site and newsletters. Submit Your Articles to Our Articles Directory.
Free articles - Article collections - Article database | Free Article Submission
FREE Articles Directory
Free Articles for reprint - Website Content and Newsletter article directory
http://www.ezinearticles.com
Article Directory - Free Expert Article Directory - GoArticles.com
iArticleBeach.com - Free Articles for Reprint. Add great content to your web site today
Infonexus.org Free Articles and Blogs
Free Content Articles Directory and Search Engine for your Ezine or Website - Isnare.com

3) Obviously I will rotate the keywords I'm targeting, and make sure my links are in order.

I will just going to keep doing this for a month, and see what effect it will have on my site. The site in question is my own personal seo research project.

Thoughts?

If it is for just one site, make sure you do not keep submitting to the same article directories every month. Submit them to various article directories as there are tons of them on the web.

Every time you write a good quality original article, publish it on Ezinearticles and wait till you can see the approved article. Then go about submitting to other sites.

As you pointed out, vary the anchor text in the resource box and the links within the article itself.

If the articles themselves are unique, what's the problem with submitting them to the same article directories?

Getting multiple links from the same domain is far less powerful that having links from a diverse set of domains. The more the domain diversity, the better it is in the eyes of Google.

EZA is the premier site for articles on the web today. Submitting your original article to it gives you better bang for your buck. After that you can spin it and submit the spun versions to other article directories. The article on EZA gets lots of eyeballs from its human readers and the bots also value it a lot. Hence my suggestion to give pride of place to EZA

I think it is a good strategy. I would suggest submitting 1 article to Ezine and 1 article to the set of the others you listed. Also make sure that your authors resource box and anchor texts vary at each article directory.

I would write 3 articles over the period of a week to 10 days days then stop, and check back in 2 to 3 weeks . there's nothing worse than writing lots of content when you can get to #1 with only a few articles.
