Good SEO guide for post 2/24?

Anyone know of a good SEO guide (or a WSO) that's updated (post 2/24 - with Google filtering content farm) and ones that's mainly for doing SEO for big companies?
As for off-page SEO - Profile links, article (spinning) marketing, blog commenting, forum marketing, web 2.0 (squidoo, hubpages) seem somewhat spammy to me. I don't want to hurt the SEO rank and/or reputation of a company by doing profile linking or blog commenting too much.
