A bad post of mine is ranked #1 in Google, How can I change it?

I was trying to rank my site #1 for a certain keyword and turns out one of my posts ranked #1 and my website ranked #2.

The problem with this is that the post is awful, I don't persuade anyone to take action, and I babble about nothing just trying to get my keyword and LSI keywords in there.

Is there a way to change the text and make it better? I don't want to take out words and all of a sudden my website jumps back a few spots.

Any and all help is appreciated!!

Jeremy

All you can do is try to outrank it with your own site or on other websites. Google has commented many times on that when someone has bad stuff about them that they would do seo to push it down.

what you should do is to out rank the bad site of yours by creating more backlinks to the one you what to rank number one. its very simple if the backlinks in the no good site is 10 then create 20 or 50 backlinks in your site you want to rank high

Or create more links from the post to your main site using that keyword as anchor text.

If you are really desperate to remove it, go to your Webmasters account and submit a request for removal of that URL from Google index. Then delete that post and do a fresh one
