Building more links to money site hurts,so in pyramid strategy we are building links to the top tier links that linked money site.It is a structure gives more linkjuice and increase indexation

You use weak links at the base of the pyramid, to strengthen the slightly better links closer to your homepage. Ultimately the goal is to have fewer, stronger links pointing to your money site.

Profile links -> Blog comments -> Articles (dofollow ideally) -> Money site

A link pyramid, is when you layer your links. It usually consists of one layer of High Quality links pointing to your site, and a second layer of a much higher quantity pointing to your first layer links.
