Number of outgoing links

Just a quick one for the SEO experts out there.
Say I am posting a link on a page with several hundred links. Now this page is considered a highly by google. Will the fact that this page is full of links affect the weight of mine in terms of optimization?

Yes, the amount of link juice passed is divided by the number of outbound links.

Yep, OBL (outbound links) is a big factor in how much "link juice" the page passes. The backlink is still good if the page is high PR, but it is significantly lessened if there are lots of other links coming out of the page.

Absolutely right, if the high PR page has 100 links then the value for your link will be divided by those 100 links plus 1, your link. So whenever you are trying to comment of blogs or trying to get a link on any site, try to get on pages which has less outgoing links.
