How do I get super targeted Adsense Ads?

There are websites in the Automotive niche that have really cool/targeted Adsense ads.

My website does not? I enter in the adsense code like everyone else?

Is there some sort of Google ad service where I can specify the types of ads I want show?

Will Google ad planner help?

heres some of the phrases I have found in the code

    You have no direct control over which ads are served on your page. Google uses an algorithm that improves targeting over time, but the advertisers always have the final say. You can influence which ads are displayed by creating tightly focused content and highly targeted traffic.

    If your pages tend to span many topics then your ads will also. The most important thing to focus on is highly targeted traffic. The best advertisers are not going to allow their ads on your pages unless your traffic converts well for their offers.

    my stuff is pretty targeted. I know Google serves whatever ad, but I see sites similar to mine displaying cool image ads.

      Hi SEOThomas,

      When your website gets large amounts of targeted traffic it will also draw in bigger and better advertisers. Focus on traffic that converts well for advertisers and you too will earn those advertising customers.

      Also, check your account setting to make sure you have enabled image ads.

    I have seen the same thing. but it is supposed to be random. Some say the longer you have the account the better the ads become for your niche.

    I think I agree about the amount of traffic...my site is pretty small compared to the "other" guys...thus they get the really cool ads
