Inbound links = links going in to your site.
Outbound links = links going out from your site.

Use rel="nofollow" for all of your external outbound links (links to outside of your site)

Wikipedia is not a typical example, really. It's a very reputable and trusted source, and a great number of outbound links won't do any harm to it. Moreover, links from wikipedia are nofollow.

You should avoid great number of outbound links, otherwise you'll be viewed upon as a link farm.

There is nothing inherently wrong with having outbound links on your site. Now you do want to keep it down to a reasonable number so your pages do not look like spam pages but having a few is not going to do you any harm. You do need to be very careful what sites you like to. Again you have to guard your sites reputation by not linking to porn sites etc.

In fact there does seem to some evidence to support the fact that linking out to a few strong sites in your niche can actually be helpful. Take a look at some real authority sites and you will see that they do have more than a few links to related sites on their pages.

    Inbound Links
Links coming from other sites to your site. Like you are getting link to your site from warriorforum.com through signature. (looks like you have an idea about this

    Outbound Links
If you place any other website link on your site, it will be treated as Outbound links

    Thanks

Inbound Links = Also Known As Backlinks = Your website URL on other people's websites

Outbound Links= Any URL that is Physically Present on Your Website

You should get as many inbound links as you can.

You should have as few outbound links as possible.

    Hello,

Inbound links are most commonly known as the back links for your site which generally points toward your site. You can taste some bad results from the Goggle because of the poor quality of the back links,so it must be relevant.
Out bond links are generally points toward the other website from yours. It allows you to have a better control over it as compare to the inbound links .You have to make sure that when ever you post any out bond links ,they should point to the relevant source or content.
