Has anyone noticed a big shakeup in the serps this week? A new Panda roll out?

Actually yes, I've seen two sites unrelated to each other that were ranked in the top 5 for their chosen keyword get banished to the 4th or 5th page. Both of them though had not added new content in months.

I would not worry unless it has been a great amount of time. Give it a month or 3.

You think it will bounce back? I mean these are great real company websites. Domain age of 15 years. PR of 6. They are bouncing and getting beat by spammy scammy no name brand sites that are now in position 2-6 while the company is back to position 8 from 2.

Another PR update late last week is the most likely culprit.

I don't know if I'd call it a "big" shakeup...but, much to my joy, quite a number of my previously "pandalized" niche sites made it back to their rightful home - page one! For the last while, checking my site's ranking hasn't been as fun as it was today

One of my pages that was on the 3rd/4th page for the chosen keyword that I have been trying to SEO for a couple of months jumped to 1st/2nd page.

We have recently seen our daily new page one rankings jump five fold in the last 7 days. There is some major juice rolling these days. I mean major!

About 80% of my SEO projects took a huge jump lately. Many of them taking #1 for keywords I hadn't expected them to.

There was another run of Panda. It was in the search engine blogs and Google confirmed it. That's probably what you are seeing.
