Diff between home page back links and inner pages back links

Hi,

My site showing 158 back links on home page in seo tool bar, but when I click inner pages like one page shows 11 back link which is inner page. Why this is so. Mostly site shows same back links on all pages.

    Because a backlink to yoursite.com/index.php is different to a backlink to yoursite.com/blah/blah.php

    They are different pages, hence the data about each page will be different.

    When you say "mostly site shows same back links on all pages" - which sites are you talking about?

      So do backlinks to yoursite.com/index.php help yoursite.com/blah/blah.php get indexed and visa versa?
