Post Vs. Page WordPress - SEO point of view!?

From SEO point of view which are better for higher ranking: posts or pages on wordpress platform ?

    That has been a discussion for a long time. You want to do both. I use pages for high volume word count and main keyword, and post pages for slightly less word count and maybe a sub keyword or LSI keyword. That is just my personal way of doing it most of the time. I make categories with the keyword as well. This adds some weight to the content.

    Weaving in good plugins that will interlink the content like Yarrp and others will help with seo a bit. There is so much more that you need to do to help with ranking, but I have had great traffic from both posts and pages.

      I've read that pages are not that good for SEO because you cant use RSS or tags on it.

        According to SEO POINT of View , Both point are very interesting . Google Panda algorithm says that If you have unique content on post and pages. i will give high priority in terms of ranking as well as traffic

    Both are fine. I used to do only pages but for some of my sites that tend to hit 20+ pages I started converting them to posts because it was easier to manage and do user navigation (categories). Not much of a difference between both.

    I mostly use posts as they are listed faster and seem to get more respect from Google. That's just my sites.
