Google ignoring title tag.

When i see my website ranking in Google, there is no my original title what i have in it. It picked up a keyword from my H1. Then i search in Google and found this article.

    Just ensure your title and h1 are both captivating and keyword rich and you'll be fine.

    Yes, it's true, Google would sometimes ignore the title tag - there's no way you can influence it.

    Yesterday another warrior gave an example of a missing description in SERPs: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...y-website.html.

    Well, it happens that Google behaves funny with titles and descriptions, but fortunately it doesn't influence rankings.

    On the minus side is only that people who search the SERPs miss out some information you wanted them to see and click on your website.

    Very interesting... I wasn't aware of this but it seems in most cases this is more relevent to pages that do not have a title or there is heavy duplication of titles across pages. Thanks for the link... that blog isn't bad at all. Can't believe I have never seen that blog before seeing that is has such a formidable domain name (seo.com)
